As the 2023-2024 school year gets underway, the Minnesota Boys & Girls Clubs are pleased to present the Youth Right Now survey findings. This comprehensive survey of youth in Minnesota and throughout the country gauges youth’s current feelings on academics, emotional well-being, relationships, readiness for life after high school and the social issues impacting their generation.

Youth Right Now contains data points from Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Youth Outcomes Initiative Member Survey. This data was collected over an 8-week period beginning in February 2023, representing more than 130,000 kids ages 9-18 at nearly 3,500 Boys & Girls Clubs. Youth take the survey via computers on-site at Boys & Girls Clubs across the nation. To our knowledge, Boys & Girls Clubs of America now operates the nation’s largest private data set on kids and teens!
At our 57 Club sites in Minnesota, we continue to offer comprehensive out-of-school time programs for youth who need us the most, helping them to develop academic, social, economic, and physical well-being skills for their future. The Youth Right Now Survey provides Minnesota Clubs with critical insight on Minnesota’s youth that informs our work and goals.
